Tejon House has been renovated to provide modern comfort combined with Victorian charm. Like all old houses, it does have its quirks. Read on for details on how to get the most out of your stay.

Please Read the House Rules:

Property Etiquette:
Please treat this space as if it were your own home. Any undue wear & tear, disrespect of the space or furnishings, or unreported damages will be subject to fines & damage fees. Examples of fineable offenses include but are not limited to:
  • Leaving the oven on
  • Leaving windows open (especially during extreme cold/hot weather)
  • Excess water splashed outside of the bathtub causing leaks into the downstairs unit
  • Leaving the water running
  • Tracking excessive dirt/mud through the entry and unit
Unfortunately, we have to include this rule because past guests have made it necessary. We understand that accidents happen, so please be communicative if a problem arises; if we are aware and able to address issues during your stay it is much less likely to involve a fine. If we find issues upon checkout that are above-and-beyond a normal stay you WILL be charged fees for extra cleaning, increased utilities caused by leaving windows open, the cost to remediate water damage, etc. Just treat the space as if it were yours and we won't have a problem.

Noise:
This is a fantastic vibrant neighborhood, which we love as it is close proximity to the city yet quiet and spacious. We abide by the City and County of Denver Noise Ordinance at all times. Applicant agrees to close all exterior openings to the outside by 10 pm to prevent noise travel. There are tenants in the space downstairs. Please be respectful of them and abide by “quiet time” between the hours of 10PM and 8AM. Failure to respect noise rules may result in you being asked to leave with no refund or recompense for the remainder of your stay.

Additional Guests:
We currently are not offering our property for venue use or parties, sorry. Occupancy is limited to the registered group size, unless previously approved prior to the check-in date.

Smoking/Vaping/Flame:
Additionally there is no smoking or vaping of any kind allowed inside the home (this includes candles, incense, and any other source of flame). You are welcome to use any of the outdoor spaces for smoking. No candles, incense, or other flame inside the unit. The outside space is shared and appreciate being thoughtful of others. Evidence of any smoking inside the unit will be subject to an extra cleaning fee.
